Day 01: Arrive Delhi:
On arrival our representative shall meet you at the airport to welcome you and transfer you to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi:
Full day enjoy city tour covering Laxmi Narayan Temple – The Place of Gods, India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House – The Government Headquarters,
Jama Masjid - The largest mosque in Asia, Red Fort - The red stone magic, Gandhi memorial – The memoir of father of the nation beside these some other places to visit are - Qutab Minar Complex and Humayun’s Tomb. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03-04: Delhi – Agra, 4hrs drive:
Morning drive to Agra enroute visit Sikandra. Sikandra Just 10 kilometers from Agra is the city of Sikandra. Named after the Afghan ruler Sikandar Lodhi, the city is visited by many tourists, not for its aesthetic value but for the tomb of Akbar, which it houses. The construction of the mausoleum was started by Akbar himself during his lifetime but he could not complete it. After his death, Jehangir took the task of completing the project that was left incomplete by great Emperor. However, Jehangir made many modifications in the original plan of the building. Later continue drive to Agra. On arrival Agra Check-in to Hotel.
Agra - Badal Singh established the city of Taj in 1475. Today whatever remains, has become a major tourist attraction, which has taken Agra again to the heights of glory but this time as a major tourist destination of India.PM - visit the highlight of the day - Taj Mahal - Even as the world is caught in the skirmishes of War & peace, Nuclear and Non-Nuclear; Taj has stood as the epitome of love. This extravagant monument of love is one of the most visited and most photographed places in the world. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Agra / Jaipur - 221 kms:
This morning you will drive to JAIPUR- the pink city and the capital of India's most colourful state, Rajasthan. En route stop at FATEHPUR SIKRI, which is only 38kms (45 min. drive) from Agra. Spend an hour in this deserted capital which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to a severe scarcity of water. You will visit the graceful buildings within such as the Jami Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal and other palaces. On arrival check-in at hotel. After check in and relaxing for a while, visit the old (pink) city for its colourful and crowded bazaars. Spend time walking around in the by lanes, souvenir hunting and haggling.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: In Jaipur:
A late breakfast followed by excursion to AMBER FORT, 11kms from city. This fort-palace was begun by Raja Man Singh and used by the Rajputs as their stronghold until Sawai Jai Singh II moved to the newly created Jaipur. You will visit the palace and its many intricate chambers and hallways, which has breathtaking views of the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) below. Elephant taxis will be reserved for you for a memorable ride upto the fort. Afternoon enjoy a tour of the city visiting the Maharaja's City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Also, drive past the rose-pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur -Delhi (258Km)
Morning drive back to Delhi & check in at hotel. Day at leisure for last minute shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Leave Delhi
Our services terminate with departure transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination. |
